Laurence A. Jacobs, MD, a Chicago area doctor and reproductive endocrinologist, has been consistently honored in two Castle Connolly books for the past six years. These books are "TOP DOCTORS – CHICAGO METRO AREA 2006" and "AMERICA’S TOP DOCTORS 2006." "AMERICA’S TOP DOCTORS 2006" recognizes the 'nations leading medical specialists. The book selects the top 1/2% of medical specialists nationwide.

Dr. Jacobs is the only Reproductive Endocrinologist/Infertility Specialist named in the Chicago Northern and Northwest suburban areas who has been honored in all the previous editions as well!

CHICAGO MAGAZINE (January, 2006 and January, 2004) also recognized Dr. Jacobs as being tops in his field of infertility. In 1992 he was selected as a TOP infertility doctor by LADIES HOME JOURNAL.

Dr. Jacobs is the Chairman of the Gynecologic Laparoscopy/Endoscopy Committee at Lutheran General Hospital – a major teaching medical center in the Chicago area. He is a Mayo Clinic trained Reproductive Endocrinologist/Infertility Specialist practicing in the Chicago area for over 20 years.

Dr. Jacobs is on staff at Lutheran General Hospital, Northwest Community Hospital, and Highland Park Hospital. He practices at the Fertility Centers of Illinois, S.C. primarily at his Buffalo Grove, Crystal Lake and Glenview offices.

Dr. Jacobs has received the honor of being appointed to the medical advisory board of the American Infertility Association.
